Good evening Blog. This is a piece for today's "Letters to the Editor" page in the Op-Ed section of The New York Times. It has to do with the effort to contain the huge oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. I usually dig the illustrations in this section because they get right to the point due to the size constraint. Plus, it's a great mental exercise. Below is an alternate idea that Aviva and I both liked but was ultimately passed up for the above image.
